Code of Conduct (the spirit)

Before the rules, the spirit:

Be the person you'd want to dance with.

That covers most of it. Respectful. Curious. Kind. Present. Aware that everyone in the room is there for the same reason you are — to be lifted by the music and the company.

Key rules in plain summary:

• Consent runs the room. Ask before dancing. Accept "no" gracefully.
• Respect every body in the room. No comments on bodies, appearance, or skill level with judgement.
• The dance floor has its own etiquette — look where you're moving, apologize for bumps, dance with everyone.
• Dress how you're comfortable. We don't police outfits. We police behavior.
• Hygiene matters. Showers help. Easy on the perfume.
• Classes are sober spaces. Socials, drink responsibly.
• Get consent before photographing or posting others.
• We are not a dating app. Dance well, talk warmly, let people make the next move.
• Look after each other.
